It is the duty of the board to pass on all the qualifications of applicants and to conduct examinations that measure those qualifications. The written examination shall be approved by the board. At the discretion of the board, an applicant may also be required to satisfactorily complete an oral and/or practical examination. The education committee shall administer all examinations. Applicants will be given a 14-day notice of the time and place of examination.
