The purpose of this chapter is to provide a comprehensive, coherent regulatory scheme for the licensing of those wishing to engage in the practice of pharmacy in this state. The provisions of this chapter govern in conjunction with the Pharmacy Act (Texas Civil Statutes, Article 4542a-1) the method for the issuance of a certificate to act as a pharmacist in Texas. This chapter also provides a framework for any board-approved internship program.
