Nonrenewal for Failure to Pay Child Support

- (a) In accordance with §232.0135 of the Family Code, an application for license renewal will not be accepted if a child support agency provides the Board with notice that a licensee has failed to pay child support for six months or more and requests that the Board deny the renewal of an existing license.
- (b) The application will be considered once the Board receives notice from the child support agency that the licensee has met one or more of the requirements set out in §232.0135(b) of the Family Code.
- (c) The Board may charge the licensee a fee in an amount sufficient to recover the administrative costs incurred by the Board under this chapter.
