- (a) The mission and goals (philosophy and outcomes) of the nursing program shall be consistent with the mission of the governing institution. They shall reflect a commitment to a culturally, racially, and ethnically diverse community, and be consistent with professional, educational, and ethical standards of nursing.
- (b) The written mission and goals (philosophy and outcomes) shall be used as a basis for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the program and shall be shared with the students.
- (c) The faculty shall periodically review the mission and goals (philosophy and outcomes) and shall make revisions to maintain currency.
