If an interior designer or "interior design" firm maintains offices in more than one locality, the following shall apply:
- (1) an office located in Texas having a person registered as an interior designer in Texas employed in the firm can solicit and perform "interior design" work.
(2) an office located in Texas not having a person registered as an interior designer in Texas employed in the firm shall not do "interior design" work for the public of the State of Texas unless:
- (A) the "interior design" work is done under the responsible charge of an interior designer registered in Texas; and
- (B) the responsible interior designer personally affixes his/her signature, Texas Interior Designer's seal, and the date to all reports, plans and specifications, or other "interior design" documents issued by the office, or as otherwise required by Subchapter F of this chapter (relating to Interior Designer's Seal).
- (3) an office located in Texas not having a person registered as an interior designer in Texas employed in the firm shall not do "interior design" work for the public unless all negotiations with prospective clients, whether written or oral, clearly designate that an interior designer registered in Texas will be in responsible charge of the work.
