- (a) Each registrant must affix his or her seal to the original index sheet identifying all drawings covered, to the original cover and index page identifying all specification pages covered, and to other documents of service as well which are developed and issued under the direction or authorship of the registrant.
- (b) In the absence of index sheets or covers identifying all sheets or pages bound, each sheet of all original contract documents of service, including drawings, must have the seal of the registrant responsible affixed thereto.
- (c) The absence of a seal affixed to any contract documents or plans shall be considered a violation of these rules and regulations. However, if the client requests electronic drawing files that would be used as reference documents, the following statement shall be substituted for the seal: The record copy of this drawing is on file at the offices of (name of firm), (address of firm). This electronic document is released for the purposes of reference, coordination, and/or facility management under the authority of (name), (registration number) on (date). Any modification(s) to this drawing shall be in compliance with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners' rules.
