- (a) Effective January 1, 2002, a Candidate's passing grade for any section of the examination is valid for five (5) years. Each Candidate who, after December 31, 2001, is approved for examination by the Board must pass all sections of the examination within five (5) years after the date the Candidate passes a section of the examination. A Candidate approved for examination by the Board after December 31, 2001, who does not pass all sections of the examination within five (5) years after passing a section of the examination will forfeit credit for the section of the examination passed and must pass that section of the examination again.
- (b) Each Candidate approved for examination by the Board prior to January 1, 2002, must pass all sections of the examination no later than December 31, 2006. A Candidate approved for examination by the Board prior to January 1, 2002, who does not pass all sections of the examination by December 31, 2006, will forfeit credit for each section of the examination the candidate passed before January 1, 2002, and must pass each of those sections again. The Candidate's passing grade for any section of the examination taken after January 1, 2002, is valid for five (5) years.
