- (a) An applicant for registration by examination as a landscape architect in Texas shall have received a professional degree from a recognized school whose study of landscape architecture is accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) prior to submittal of an application, or shall have had not less than seven years' actual experience in the office of a licensed landscape architect.
- (b) Board approval of previously approved non-accredited degrees will end on August 31, 1995.
- (c) Effective August 16, 1996, applicants for the June 1997 and subsequent Landscape Architect Registration Examination administrations shall process their applications through the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards and not through this board.
- (d) Pursuant to the provisions of §231.302 of the Texas Family Code, each applicant shall submit his or her social security number on forms prescribed by the board. Such information shall be considered confidential as stated in §231.302(e) of the Texas Family Code.
