To be eligible to receive the Principal as Instructional Leader Endorsement, a candidate must:

1. (1) hold a valid certificate to serve in the role of principal; and
2. (2) successfully complete the appropriate examinations required under Chapter 230, Subchapter C, of this title (relating to Assessment of Educators).
