- (a) Structured, field-based training must be focused on actual experiences with each of the standards identified in §239.15 of this subchapter (relating to Standards for the School Counselor Certificate) to include experiences at diverse types of campuses.
- (b) Each preparation program must develop and implement specific criteria and procedures that allow admitted individuals to substitute professional counselor training or experience directly related to the standards identified in §239.15 of this subchapter for part of the preparation coursework or other program requirements.
