An assignment in a departmentalized classroom for Social Studies, Grade 6, for a holder of a valid elementary, secondary, or all-level certificate is allowed with one of the following certificates.

1. (1) Any elementary teacher certificate appropriate for Grade 6.
2. (2) Bilingual Generalist: Early Childhood-Grade 6.
3. (3) Bilingual Generalist: Grades 4-8.
4. (4) English as a Second Language Generalist: Early Childhood-Grade 6.
5. (5) English as a Second Language Generalist: Grades 4-8.
6. (6) English Language Arts and Reading/Social Studies: Grades 4-8.
7. (7) Generalist: Early Childhood-Grade 6.
8. (8) Generalist: Grades 4-8.
9. (9) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Economics.
10. (10) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Geography.
11. (11) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Government.
12. (12) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--History.
13. (13) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Psychology.
14. (14) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Sociology.
15. (15) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Social Studies.
16. (16) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Social Studies, Composite.
17. (17) Junior High School or High School--Anthropology.
18. (18) Junior High School or High School--Economics.
19. (19) Junior High School or High School--Geography.
20. (20) Junior High School or High School--Government-Political Science.
21. (21) Junior High School or High School--History.
22. (22) Junior High School or High School--Psychology.
23. (23) Junior High School or High School--Sociology.

25. (25) Secondary Economics (Grades 6-12).

33. (33) Secondary or all-level teacher certificate plus 18 semester credit hours in social studies.
34. (34) Social Studies: Grades 4-8.
