- (a) General requirements. Students shall be awarded one credit for successful completion of this course. Recommended prerequisite: English III or Advanced Placement (AP) English Language and Composition.

Content requirements for Advanced Placement (AP) English Literature and Composition are prescribed in the College Board Publication Advanced Placement Course Description: English, published by The College Board. This publication may be obtained from the College Board Advanced Placement Program.
