- (a) The approval of a new graduate professional school or college, a health-related or veterinary school, or a school or college of engineering will require that the Senior College Program Committee have considered the proposal at two quarterly meetings.
- (b) In addition to the provisions in subsection (a) of this section, board approval of the creation of any new institution of higher education will require, in accordance with the Texas Education Code, §61.056, the favorable vote of at least two-thirds of the members of the board.
