- (a) Authority. Unless otherwise noted in a section, the authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, chapter 56 subchapter K-1, Texas First Scholarship Program. This subchapter establishes procedures to administer Texas Education Code, §§56.221 - 56.227.
- (b) Purpose. The purpose of this program is to incentivize the enrollment of high performing students at Texas institutions of higher education.
