An eligible institution is an institution of higher education as defined in Texas Education Code, §61.003(8); or is a private nonprofit college, university, association, agency, institution or facility that is located in Texas and whose parent campus is in Texas, which meets program standards and accreditation comparable to public institutions as determined by the board.
