1. (a) The following general academic teaching institutions are eligible to receive distributions from the Texas University Fund in a state fiscal year:

   1. (1) Texas State University;
   2. (2) Texas Tech University;
   3. (3) University of Houston; and
   4. (4) University of North Texas.
2. (b) A general academic teaching institution not listed above may become a TUF-eligible institution in a state fiscal year if it meets the statutory requirements.
