The authority for this subchapter is found in Texas Education Code, §58.006, which provides the Coordinating Board with authority to operate the statewide preceptorship program and Texas Education Code §58.011 which provides the Coordinating Board with authority to include the pediatric subspecialty option in its statewide preceptorship program.
