Tasks assigned to the committee include:

1. (1) Provide counsel to the Board and Commissioner on the administration of the Public Junior College Finance Program;
2. (2) Study and make recommendations for modification to the formulas and other components of the Public Junior College Finance Program that will increase effectiveness and efficiencies of the programs delivered;
3. (3) Identify funding incentives that would support the achievement of the state's goals outlined in the long-term master plan for higher education authorized in the Texas Education Code, §61.051(a-1); and
4. (4) Any other charges issued by the Board or Commissioner of Higher Education.
