- (a) Authority. Statutory authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, §51.762.
- (b) Purposes. The Apply Texas Advisory Committee is created to provide the Board with advice and recommendation(s) regarding changes that may be needed to the common admission application or ApplyTexas system for the upcoming academic year. The committee also focuses on additional initiatives to strengthen student participation and access to higher education.
