1. (a) An instructor license is valid for two years after the date of issuance.
2. (b) Each licensee is responsible for renewing the license before the expiration date. Lack of receipt of a license renewal notice from the department will not excuse failure to file for renewal or late renewal.

3. (c) To renew a license, an instructor must:

   1. (1) submit a completed renewal application on a department-approved form;
   2. (2) meet the requirements of §98.21(a)(4), (5), (7), (9), and (10); and
   3. (3) submit the fee required under §98.80.
