Discovery of Payment Card Skimmers

A merchant or dealer who discovers or is notified of the presence of a skimmer must:

(1) notify law enforcement that a skimmer has been discovered;
(2) notify the department on a form prescribed by the department; and
(3) take measures to prevent the motor fuel metering device from being tampered with prior to removal of the skimmer.
