Licensing Requirements--Consent Towing Operator License

(a) A consent towing operator's license is needed to operate a tow truck permitted or required to be permitted under these rules.
(b) An applicant for a consent towing operator's license must:
1. (1) submit a completed application on a department-approved form;
2. (2) be a licensed Texas driver; and
3. (3) successfully pass a criminal background check; and
4. (4) pay the fee required under §86.800.
