16 Tex. Admin. Code § 75.91
Pursuant to Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13c, the commissioner, after a hearing, may suspend, revoke, or deny an existing license, or disqualify a person from receiving a license, because that person has a felony or misdemeanor conviction that directly relates to the duties and responsibilities involved in performing the duties of an air conditioning and refrigeration contractor. The commissioner may also, after hearing, suspend, revoke, or deny a license because of a person's felony probation revocation, parole revocation, or revocation of mandatory supervision.
