1. (a) An applicant registering with the Department as an inspector shall submit a completed application for registration on the forms provided by the Department. A completed application shall include:

   1. (1) the original application fee referenced in §74.80; and
   2. (2) a copy of both sides of a valid ASME QEI-1 elevator safety inspector certification card.
2. (b) Inspectors must complete an orientation session approved by the Department regarding Department forms, inspection procedures, and applicable law and rules.

3. (c) Registration renewal applications must be filed by the registration expiration date. Inspectors shall submit a completed registration renewal application on forms provided by the Department. A completed renewal application shall include:

   1. (1) the renewal application fee referenced in §74.80; and
   2. (2) a copy of both sides of a valid ASME QEI-1 elevator safety inspector certification card.
4. (d) Inspectors shall attend a law and rules update seminar conducted by the Department as part of their requirements to renew their registration, when determined by the Executive Director.
5. (e) The inspector shall notify the Department in writing within 30 days of any changes to information submitted on the application or renewal forms.
