1. (a) Upon acceptable proof of an applicant's qualifications, the Executive Director may waive the examination requirement of §73.21 if the application is filed on or before June 1, 2004.

2. (b) Acceptable proof of an applicant's qualifications may include any or all of the following:

   1. (1) a form prescribed by the Department that certifies completion of the required hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of a master electrician or master sign electrician as appropriate.
   2. (2) a form prescribed by the Department and completed by the municipality or region in which the applicant was licensed for at least one year.
   3. (3) a transcript, diploma or certificate evidencing graduation from an applicable apprenticeship program with the required number of hours of job-related education. The apprenticeship program must be approved and registered by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training or other organizations recognized by the Department.
