1. (a) To obtain by examination a license issued under this chapter, an applicant must successfully complete an examination approved by the Executive Director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
2. (b) To obtain a license without examination, a completed application must be filed on or before June 1, 2004 and the provisions in Section 3, House Bill 1487 of the 78th Legislative Session and §73.24 must be met.
