1. (a) Certificate/inspection fees.

   1. (1) Inspection by authorized inspector. The owner or operator or his/her agent shall make a $50 payment for the certificate of operation fee.

   2. (2) Inspection by deputy inspector. The owner or operator shall make payment of the appropriate fee as shown below.

      1. (A) The inspection fees for all boilers other than heating boilers shall be $120.

      2. (B) The inspection fees for heating boilers shall be:

         1. (i) those without a manhole--$90; and
         2. (ii) those with a manhole--$120.
   3. (3) All fees must be paid in full to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P.O. Box 12157, Austin, Texas 78711 before a certificate of operation will be issued.
2. (b) Special inspections. The fee for a special inspection is $650. In addition to the fees stated in this section, travel and per diem in accordance with the current rate as established in the current Appropriations Act shall be paid. A prepayment of $650 shall be received by the department at least five working days before the department can initiate the requested special inspection. Prepayment shall be made by certified check or money order made payable to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

3. (c) Boiler installer registration fees.

   1. (1) New--$30
   2. (2) Renewal--$30
   3. (3) Reinstatement--$30
   4. (4) Revision--$30

4. (d) Texas Commission fees.

   1. (1) Exam--$25, re-exam--$25.
   2. (2) New--$25, renewal--$10, late renewal--additional $12.50 (total $22.50).
   3. (3) Reinstatement--$25.

   4. (4) Replacement:

      1. (A) certificate only--$10;
      2. (B) identifying commission card only--$10;
      3. (C) certificate and identifying commission card--$25.

5. (e) Exam administration fees:

   1. (1) National Board exam--$25;
   2. (2) American Petroleum Institute (API) 510 exam--$50.
