Massage School Conduct ­and Grievance Policy

1. (a) A massage school shall develop and implement a written policy pertaining to the conduct of students. The policy shall include:

   1. (1) conditions for dismissal; and
   2. (2) conditions for re-entrance of those students dismissed for violating the conduct policy.
2. (b) Each massage school shall establish a written grievance policy and procedure that is disclosed to all students at the time of enrollment.

3. (c) The grievance policy and procedure shall:

   1. (1) attempt to resolve disputes between students, including drops and graduates, and the school or instructor;
   2. (2) require that adequate records be maintained of grievances and resolutions;
   3. (3) require that every effort to resolve grievances and complaints is made; and
   4. (4) prohibit a massage school from disciplining or retaliating against a student for filing a complaint with the department.
