1. (a) This subchapter relates to the standards of identity, labeling, and advertising of distilled spirits.
2. (b) This subchapter does not apply to distilled spirits for export.
3. (c) This subchapter does not apply to mixtures containing wine, bottled at 48 proof or less, if the mixture contains more than 50% wine on a proof gallon basis.
4. (d) This subchapter does not apply to distilled spirits for industrial use.
5. (e) This subchapter does not apply to the dispensing of distilled spirits by the holder of a medicinal permit under the provisions of section 39.01 et seq., Alcoholic Beverage Code.
