Each transport container unit required to be registered with the Commission shall be tested in accordance with 49 CFR. The tests shall be conducted by a Category A, B, or O licensee. This section shall not apply to the initial transfer of unregistered units that are tested and transferred from another state. If the test results show any unsafe condition, the transport container unit shall be immediately removed from LP-gas service. The unit shall not be returned to LP-gas service until all necessary repairs have been made and the Commission authorizes in writing its return to service.
