- (a) LP-gas shall not be introduced into any vehicle powered by LP-gas and designed for regular use on public roadways unless the vehicle is properly identified by a weather-resistant diamond-shaped label described in NFPA 58, §8.2.10, as that section is amended in Table 1 of §9.403 of this title (relating to Sections in NFPA 58 Not Adopted by Reference, and Adopted With Changes, Additional Requirements, or Corrections).
(b) Upon completion of a vehicle conversion, the licensee making the conversion shall affix to the vehicle a decal or tag of metal or other permanent material in a readily visible location indicating the following information:
- (1) the licensee's name;
- (2) the LP-gas license number; and
- (3) the year and month the vehicle was converted.
- (c) A single identification decal or tag may be used to satisfy the requirements in §§9.141, 9.307, and 9.308 of this title (relating to Uniform Safety Requirements, Identification of Converted Appliances, and Identification of Piping Installation, respectively).
