Vehicles assigned to and used by district office field personnel are exempt from bearing the inscription required in Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6701m-1. These vehicles are used in regulatory and administrative activity, including inspections and investigations which require that the Railroad Commission of Texas personnel be able to accomplish their tasks undetected.
