The following words and terms, when used in this section, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

1. (1) Act--The Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551.
2. (2) Board--The Governing Board of the Texas Department of Economic Development.
3. (3) Chairman--The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Texas Department of Economic Development.
4. (4) Department--The Texas Department of Economic Development.
5. (5) Executive director--The executive director of the Texas Department of Economic Development.
6. (6) TEDC--The Texas Economic Development Corporation, a Texas nonprofit corporation incorporated pursuant to Texas Government Code, §481.024.
7. (7) TEXCAP--The TEXCAP Financing Corporation, a Texas nonprofit corporation incorporated pursuant to the Development Corporation Act of 1979, VTCS Article 5190.6.
8. (8) TSBIDC--The Texas Small Business Industrial Development Corporation, a Texas nonprofit corporation incorporated pursuant to the Development Corporation Act of 1979, VTCS Article 5190.6.
