If the parties agree or the arbitrator directs that documents or other evidence be submitted to the arbitrator after the hearing, all parties shall be afforded an opportunity to examine such documents or other evidence. Such materials shall be served as provided in §163.9 of this title (relating to Filing and Service of Documents).
