The TBPC operates a Small Contractor Participation Assistance Program as set forth in Texas Government Code, §2166.258 (amended by SB 1268, 77th Legislature (2001)) and §2166.259 and this section. In accordance with Texas Government Code, §2166.258, this shall include the contracting with insurance company(ies), surety company(ies), agent(s) or broker(s) to provide surety technical assistance services for the benefit of small and historically underutilized businesses. FCSMD shall develop detailed operating procedures for implementation of this process.
