1. (a) The applicant may amend the application, as required, to correct informalities, to avoid objections, or at the request of the Secretary of State.
2. (b) The identification of goods and/or services may be amended to clarify or limit, but not to broaden, the stated goods and/or services.
3. (c) If the verification or declaration is executed by the wrong party, the applicant may submit a substitute verification or declaration.
4. (d) The dates of use may be amended, provided that the applicant does not amend the application to include a date of use that is subsequent to the date of receipt of the application.
5. (e) The name of the applicant may be amended if incorrectly stated in the application, but the application may not be amended to include a different applicant.
