Number of Election Workers per Polling Place

- (a) The county chair shall use the formula set out in the following figure to determine the number of election workers allowable for each polling place.

- (b) Each polling place must have, at the minimum, a presiding judge, an alternate judge (clerk), and a clerk. The county chair must acquire prior approval from the Office of the Secretary of State prior to hiring additional workers.
