The only payments which may be made from the primary fund to the county chair personally or to an entity or business in which the county chair, chair's spouse, or chair's family has a financial interest are those payments for election day workers, incidental administrative costs, and the county chair's compensation. Chair's family is defined in these rules as third degree by consanguinity (blood) and second degree by affinity (marriage).
