The provisions of this chapter are promulgated under the Texas Family Code, §§264.410(c) and 264.609, which provide the Office of the Attorney General with the authority, respectively, to adopt standards for local children' s advocacy center programs and to adopt rules necessary to carry out the provisions of Chapter 264.
