All requests for emergency awards under Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Art. 56.50 shall include a written statement from the victim or claimant setting forth the reasons why the denial of an emergency award would create an undue hardship. Awards made under this section will be deducted from subsequent awards at the discretion of the OAG.
