1. (a) "Equipment" is defined as any item with a unit cost of $1,000 or more and any other item, without regard to the unit cost, that a grantee capitalizes in its own accounting records.
2. (b) A grantee may use equipment only for grant-related purposes and not for personal or non-grant-related purposes.
3. (c) All costs for equipment must follow the guidelines set forth in UGMS.
4. (d) Grant funds may not be used to fund the purchase of vehicles.
