1. (a) In any month that a contract unit fails to comply with program standards or cost efficiency levels, the contract may be changed. Contract changes may be, but are not limited to, the following:

   1. (1) termination of the contract;
   2. (2) modification of the contract terms to alter to the county's performance obligations;
   3. (3) other adjustments as appropriate.
2. (b) County officials have the right to appeal within 10 days after the receipt of the notice of a contract termination.
