An applicant must apply pursuant to the Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act of 1989 (the Act), as amended, for locate services for parental kidnapping and child custody determination through an authorized agent and pay the required fee. The State Parent Locator Services accepts applications for these services only from district judges, county attorneys, district attorneys, or any other official qualified as an authorized person under the Act.
