Eligibility Determination

- (a) The Texas Department of Human Services (DHS) eligibility specialist must verify all eligibility factors according to the verification and documentation requirements for each factor.
- (b) The DHS eligibility specialist must document all factors of eligibility in the case record to substantiate the decisions made on all applications and redeterminations prior to certifying, recertifying, denying, or taking any other action on a client's eligibility and/or applied income.
