These rules shall be read in conjunction with rules adopted by other state agencies charged with operation of the state's Medicaid managed care program, including the Texas Department of Health, at 25 TAC §§30.21-30.32 (Standards for the State of Texas Access Reform (STAR)), and the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, at 25 TAC §§409.401-409.406 (Standards for Managed Care Organizations Providing Behavioral Healthcare Services to Medicaid Recipients).
