1. (a) The Advisory Commission on State Emergency Communications (ACSEC), through its legislative authority of the Health and Safety Code, Chapter 771, recognizes the importance of the councils of governments' (COGs) administration of the 9-1-1 regional plans in their jurisdictions. As a component of the ACSEC Strategic Plan and COG regional plan, an administrative budget is necessary to administer the provisions of this Act.
2. (b) The budget cycle for COG Administrative Budget approvals will be for a fiscal year period of September 1 through August 31.
3. (c) The ACSEC reserves the right to request additional budget documentation from a council of governments.
4. (d) The administrative budget document is adopted by reference, and can be obtained from the Advisory Commission on State Emergency Communications, 333 Guadalupe Street, Suite 2-212, Austin, Texas 78701-3942, (512) 305-6911.
