An institution of higher education must notify the department in writing within thirty calendar days if:

1. (1) the institution is determined to be out of compliance with the purchasing standards required under Texas Education Code §51.9337; or
2. (2) the institution is determined to have regained its acquisition authority under Texas Education Code §51.9335.
