In this chapter:
- (1) "District" means levee improvement district.
- (2) "Board" means the board of directors of a levee improvement district.
- (3) Repealed by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 986 (S.B. 766), Sec. 106, eff. September 1, 2025.
- (4) "Commissioners court" means the commissioners court of the county in which the district is located or the commissioners court of the county of jurisdiction.
- (5) "Executive director" means the executive director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
- (6) "Commission" means the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
