1. (a) The filing fee for a contested case or a protest that involves a hearing is:

   1. (1) $35 for a complaint filed under Subchapter M; and
   2. (2) $200 for any other complaint or protest.
2. (b) If a person who brings a complaint under Subchapter M prevails in the case, the nonprevailing party in the case shall reimburse the amount of the filing fee for the case.
