1. (a) The designated trauma facility and emergency medical services account is created as a dedicated account in the general revenue fund of the state treasury. Money in the account may be appropriated only to:

   1. (1) the department for the purposes described by Section 780.004; or

   2. (2) the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for graduate-level:

      1. (A) medical education programs; or
      2. (B) nursing education programs.
2. (b) The account is composed of money deposited to the credit of the account under Sections 542.4031, 709.002, and 1006.153, Transportation Code, and under Section 780.002 of this code.
3. (c) Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 448 , Sec. 46(3), eff. September 1, 2015.
